LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – One day after Christmas, 3-year-old William now has the bike he wanted, but his father never will get to see him ride it.
Two Christmas mornings have passed since 20-year-old Charles Fambrough was found shot to death. Police now call his murder case cold.
“Some people never come forward, they’ve got to live with this guilt,” said Percy Miller, better known as the rap artist Master P. “But we hope that today, we can give these families some joy.”
Friday, at the corner of N. 24th Street and Portland Avenue – the same corner where Fambrough’s body was found – Master P offered children who’ve suffered similar losses the opportunity to find a toy car or bicycle that was just right – his treat.
“It’s beautiful,” said 4-year-old Kennedy Mathes, as she perched upon a tiny bike complete with training wheels. “It’s pretty, and pink and purple.”
“I looked at it, and I liked it, the color and what’s on it,” 10-year-old Jamiyah White said, regarding her choice.
White and her family lost almost everything when their home burned Christmas Eve.
“It was so unexpected you know,” her mother Tonya Woodford said. “I’m grateful, because this Christmas is not like any other Christmas we were used to having.”
But Woodford reminded interviewers that her family remains intact.
Eight-year-old Dylan’s brother Ray Allen Etheridge, 12, was murdered in Cherokee Park in September. An acquaintance, 21-year-old Joseph Cambron, is charged with the crime.
Four-year-old Sumo lost his father, 38-year-old Quinton Logan, in May. Logan was shot to death in the driveway of his home in Shawnee Park. Police have no suspects.
“If you can look in these kids’ faces and you can live with that then you have a problem,” Master P said.
The rapper calls himself a homicide survivor. His brother, Kevin Miller, was murdered in Louisiana in 1995. A family acquaintance was caught and convicted.
Master P is hopeful that seeing these children will prompt Fambrough’s killer, or whoever knows who it might be, to come forward.
“But I will pay a reward,” he said. “Whatever we need to capture this person, I told them I’m willing to put it up.”
The dollars aren’t specified. But he will work with Louisville Metro investigators as they pursue leads, according to community activist Christopher 2X, whose “Let the Children Grow” campaign screened recipients for the rapper’s Christmas gifting.
Fambrough’s girlfriend and William’s mother said that investigators have not talked to her since Fambrough’s murder. But Friday, she had found a moment of peace.
“This is the best Christmas present ever,” Megan Brown said. “To see kids smiling and laughing. It’s just the best feeling in the world.”

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —On Thursday night, another forum took place to help promote racial understanding and relationships in the community in light of the recent decisions in the Michael Brown case in Ferguson and the Eric Garner case in New York.
Sabrina Webb, Michael Brown’s cousin, and three of his hometown friends flew into Louisville Thursday around 1 p.m. as a part of the “Let the Kids Grow” initiative created by entertainer Master P and Christopher 2X.
“I heard the shots,” Webb said. “All I could see was blood running down the street.”
Webb attracted nearly 200 people to the YMCA in the 900 block of West Chestnut Street.
Webb and Brown’s friends hoped to share their pain with those hurting youth in Louisville and to promote progress instead of rioting.
The meeting was meant to give the young people of Louisville a voice in light of the recent grand jury decisions on the deaths of Brown in Ferguson and Garner in New York.
Webb shared photos and her experiences at the forum.
“They threw tear gas at us,” Webb said. “(It was) so bad (that I) felt my face peeling off.”
It’s a movement that has gained traction across the country. People in Louisville have marched in Brown’s name to demand justice.
“We see it in Ferguson,” said Christopher 2X. “It isn’t much different than Louisville.”
In addition to meeting with the media at 18th Street and Broadway, the family also went to the site of the Louisville riots in 1968 at Greenwood and 28th streets, which occurred after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King.
Kal Carey said he wants his daughter, Emily, to be a part of fighting stereotypes through her continued success.
“There are ways to positively respond to such negatives,” Carey said. “Going to school, listening to parents, trying to be a responsible child.”
Webb and Brown’s friends spoke with the parents of Michael Newby, who was shot in the back by Officer McKenzie Mattingly in January 2004. The shooting happened during a botched drug bust.

Chorus
Sometime I feel alone out here on this road, then I remember where I’ve been
But when it gets cold out there it won’t be long
I keep it pushing and never look back again
I do everything monumental
Verse 1
Even in bad times we never gave up
When we was outnumbered ain’t none of it phased us
In the struggle we got strong, you real and you last long
When they said it was impossible, I had to prove them haters wrong
I never looked back, kept my eyes on my opponent
I gave it my all, then I did what I wanted
Hard work it pays off even when faced off or battling the enemy
See life as to play ball, I tied up my shoes and I got ready for war
I came from nothing to something, they couldn’t take me apart
They say whatever don’t kill you make you stronger and that’s a fact
And through the pain real champs never look back
Pre-chorus
You get one shot to make it
It’s right there for the taking
All real life no faking and never look back
Chorus
Sometime I feel alone out here on this road, then I remember where I’ve been
But when it gets cold out there it won’t be long
I keep it pushing and never look back again
I do everything monumental
Verse 2
It’s a lonely road to success especially when they hate you
Ain’t nobody make you so never let’em break you
It’s no limit to my dreams and all the hard work I put in
And losing ain’t an option to all the struggling that I’ve been in
I strived when I couldn’t strive, kept running when I got tired
These scars and these wounds ain’t make me quit it made me realize
It’s one thing that I want and one thing that I can get
If I keep going I’m gone make it ain’t no option in me quittin’
Because winners never quit, quitters never win
If I fall I get back up and do it all again
Use my gift and my talent I gotta keep goin’
If you believe and you dream big its nothing when you want it
Pre-chorus
You get one shot to make it
It’s right there for the taking
All real life no faking and never look back
Chorus
Sometime I feel alone out here on this road, then I remember where I’ve been
But when it gets cold out there it won’t be long
I keep it pushing and never look back again
I do everything monumenta

Ace B the new King of the Streets in New Orleans has teamed up with his comrades Romeo and Cymphonique on the new single “I Want You” produced by BlaqNmilD. A feel good record that the djs and clubs love, the song is taking off at Radio and the Streets. “Ace B is phenomenal at making street records but he really did his thing on this one.” says DJ Flex. The record has a New Orleans bounce with a mass appeal. Ace B’s lyrical delivery is crazy, while Romeo and Cymphonique added the right flavor to make this song gumbo. No Limit Forever is making major moves and the sky is the limit for Ace B.

MASTER P “GOING THROUGH SOME THINGS”
NEW SINGLE FROM THE ICE CREAM MAN II ALBUM
INTRO: You know what’s crazy when your boy ain’t had no money, your boy ain’t had no problem. Biggie Smalls said it good “More money, more problems.” I always thought it’d be us against them not us against us. I still love my family, I love my people, and you know I love my kids. I love my hood. I just feel like I’m going through it right now. It’s like I’m going crazy, I ain’t even getting high, I’m just…
CHORUS (4x)
I’m going through some things, I’m going through some things
These hitters and these women got me going through some things
VERSE 1
These hitters trippin’, these women trippin’
These haters holdin’ their nuts,
My pockets full of them dead men,
That’s why them haters wanna be us
My baby mama she trippin’ yeah tryin’ to take your boy to court
I should pull the Mayweather, take the mansion and that Porsche
My kids hungry? I’ll steal for ’em
My brother trippin’? but I’ll kill for him
My grandma dead, but I changed my life but I ain’t going back to jail for ’em
I got millions now, I got plenty cars, but your boy still be stressin’
Got street dudes and gossipin’ chicks and tmz askin’ questions
When I was broke in the projects they ain’t worried about my life
Now I got a lil paper they wanna know everything I like
Like who I’m screwin’ and what I’m doin’,
Where Boz at?, What Shorty doin’? Rome straight? Your family good?
Why you worryin’ bout what millionaires doin’
CHORUS (4X) &n bsp;
VERSE 2
I’m having nightmares I killed this fool, I hope that I don’t know ’em
These haters thinkin’ I got soft but rookie I’m a show ’em
Paparazzi keep messin’ with me, want me to hit ’em and they get rich
Got my cousin with me and he from the hood, And he’ll punch you in your mouth
And if I go to jail, and it get real then I’m gone take my lick
I ain’t cryin’ or mad at no other man, that’s real hitter shit
And everything I got, I hustle for it and I ain’t ask nobody for shit
And if I fall off, I get back up, cause I’m really with that it
And if you made me, go make you, why you worryin’ about what we do
I’m No Limit, I’m TRU, I’m the realest hitter you ever knew
I love my family, don’t trust my friends, this money stuff they’ll do you in
You ain’t got no money, you ain’t got no friends,
But this money stuff will make you kill your friends
