
MASTER P AND TEAM HOPE NOLA HOSTS STAR STUDDED CELEBRITY BASKETBALL GAME TO BENEFIT NEW ORLEANS YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP FUND
(Los Angeles – May 22, 2017) Percy Miller (Master P) and Team Hope NOLA (THN) present a star-studded celebrity basketball game on Thursday, June 29th at Xavier University. The event will kick off the Essence festivities. The proceeds from the game will benefit THN scholarship fund.
“I reached out to some of my colleagues and friends, told them what we are doing to help raise money for scholarships for the children in New Orleans and the response has been overwhelming” said Miller. ” It is extremely important to be able to help the children from my hometown, these children are challenged with so much, this is just my way of giving back through education, it not only changes lives it saves lives and we can have some family fun with friendly competition on the court. This celebrity game will be for a great cause” continued Miller.
Here are some of the celebrities who have already committed to participate in Master P’s star studded celebrity basketball game: Romeo Miller, Yung Joc, Lil Scrappy, Trombone Shorty, Ray J, Kidd Kidd, Silkk the Shocker, Trey Songz, Doug E Fresh, former NBA players, Chris Jackson, Caron Butler, Ben Gordon and many more.
The game will start at 4:00 PM at the Xavier University Convocation Center. There will be music, basketball, prizes and a great fun-filled afternoon. In addition, the Team Hope Nola scholarship winners will be announced at halftime.
