Norte Dame, Mercy Miller and Caleb Foster Best Back Court In H.S. Basketball, Beats Sierra Canyon for the Fourth Time to Win SoCal D1 Title. Bronny James Prep Career Ends. The much publicized high school basketball career of Bronny James is over and he can largely blame a talented and determined Notre Dame team from Sherman Oaks for that. The Knights got 28 points from Duke bound Caleb Foster and 18 from Mercy Miller in an 80-61 CIF Southern California Division 1 Regional champion game Tuesday to Sierra Canyon-Chatsworth at a jammed pack Calabasas High. It was the fourth consecutive loss for the Trailblazers against Notre Dame this season, all since Jan. 27. James, the son of LeBron James, a 6-foot-3 McDonald’s All-American finished with 10 points. Notre Dame the top seed, advances to Friday’s state championship game against the Northern California winner between Granada-Livermore and Salesian-Richmond at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
